Product Information Q&A

Where is Ruby's Fudge made?

Ruby's fudge is handmade by Ruby in her bespoke fudge kitchen situated within her cottage in rural Worcestershire. Ruby's kitchen is registered for food safety with Worcestershire Regulatory Services in the Malvern Hills district of the UK.

How long will it keep?

The shelf life of Ruby's Fudge has been laboratory tested for up to twelve weeks. Our promise, is that our fudge will arrive to you with at least an eight week shelf life.

How do I store Ruby’s Fudge?

Due to the nature of our fudge being made traditionally, it is best kept at an ambient temperature in the cellophane bag that it was purchased in and away from direct sunlight. If you have bought our fudge to serve on a sweet cart, it’s best not to leave it in the open air for anymore than 24 hours. Additionally, if you are making your own wedding favours, it is best presented and kept in cellophane bags.

Is Ruby’s Fudge gluten free?

All of Ruby’s Fudge is gluten free with the exception of our Irish cream fudge (traces of barley) and our Christmas pudding fudge.

What are the allergens?

All allergens are listed on our product descriptions and in bold on our food labelling. All of our fudge flavours contain milk, and although due diligence is taken seriously, are made in an area where nuts are present.

What is your food hygiene rating?

Our kitchen was last inspected by the Food Standards Agency on 30th August 2023 and was given a hygiene rating of 5 (very good). This can be viewed here.
